Parkland Estates is a South Tampa neighborhood that was developed in the 1920s. Its boundaries are Swann Avenue to the North, Morrison Avenue to the South, Lincoln Avenue to the West, and Howard Avenue to the East. Parkland Estates is a sister community to the South Tampa neighborhood of Palma Ceia. The Parkland Estates neighborhood is well-loved for its historic homes. Here you can find larger lot sizes than some of the other South Tampa neighborhoods.

The original builder of Parkland Estates, Allen J. Simms, was also the builder for the historic and recently remodeled Floridian Hotel. This iconic hotel has the historic distinction of being the tallest building in downtown Tampa from 1927 until 1966.

Residents of Parkland Estates enjoy living within walking distance of Hyde Park Village. Hyde Park Village is an open-air shopping and dining complex which covers several residential blocks. Boutique shopping, fine dining, cafes, and a movie theater can all be found at Hyde Park Village. Hyde Park Village is also home to a monthly fresh market that features local vendors and artists.
